Our Centre

At Westcare Early Learning Centre we value each child’s individuality, strengths, knowledge and interests, and extend on these by providing a child-centred program based on the Montessori Approached and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Essential Criteria:

• Hold a qualification (Bachelor of Education) Early childhood or hold an ACECQA approved teaching qualification.
• Montessori qualification is preferred but not required (Mentoring on site available)
• Experience in the Early years Learning industry
• Comprehensive understanding of NQF and previous implementation of EYLF
• Current Approved qualifications for child protection, First aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
• WWC Check.

Your Role:

• Contribute to a harmonious, professional and positive collegiate culture
• Be a dynamic, flexible, hands-on Educator working in a team environment
• Be able to plan and implement lessons and experiences based on the Montessori Early Years Learning Framework (MEYLF), connecting it to the EYLF, and recording observations for the children’s profiles
• Produce individual learning plans for each child
• Plan and implement a school reediness program
• A high standard of verbal and written communication skills in English is essential.
