Westcare Early Learning Centre is a purpose-built child care centre, that provides quality education and care to children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years of age. We are committed to providing an enriching learning environment for every child who joins us. We aim to support children in their transition from home by creating an environment that is extension of the child’s home, and creates a strong sense of wellbeing.
Our excellent facilities have been designed to encourage exploration. They invoke imagination and wonder for children. The quality Montessori resources and environments are matched by an outstanding team of educators, who are all dedicated professionals with a clear understanding of how to implement the Early Years Learning Framework and teach using the Montessori method to ensure children’s development is supported, and their learning is maximised.

Our centre director, Rachael.
Rachael has been in the childcare industry for over 10 years, she holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and is now currently studying and completing her Graduate Diploma of Education in Montessori studies. Rachael is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys being a part of the special early years in each child’s development.
“I absolutely love my job . I love the relationships that I get to have with the children and their families. I also love becoming an extension of the children’s home and watching them grow and develop throughout their time at Westcare ELC”
Rachael believes that children are capable learners that thrive in early childhood settings when relationships between family and educators are well-established with open communication.
Educators’ professional development and growth is one of her passions, this helps each educator reach their full potential.
She believes in providing Educators with regular development to ensure that learning programs, theories and early childhood philosophies reflect new and contemporary practices that enrich children’s learning and development.
